Synopsis :
An out and proud filmmaker, Sid Mehra, meets a gorgeous fan from the audience at a public talk. They hit it off immediately but after spending a night of romance and passion, Sid suddenly becomes cold and distant for some unknown reason. PINE CONE is a semi-autobiographical journey of a gay filmmaker who has become cynical about love for over two decades as he navigates relationships with the changing landscape of LGBTQI rights in India. The film is a celebration of queer desire seen from a queer gaze and introduces the first openly gay actor in a leading role in mainstream Hindi cinema.
