The oppression of sexual minorities in India is reported to be prevalent; actually, there have also been milestones on LGBT+ rights. In South Korea, LGBT+ representation in film is becoming more common. In the meantime, communities are still fighting hard for equality – socially and legally. Guests will speak on the state of affairs on LGBT+ lives and rights in their respective countries and the effect it has in making films.
