Synopsis
Sammy and Emma live a pretty standard life. That is until Sammy divulges that he has a taste for men, too. When a chance encounter at their new apartment enables Sammy to meet photographer Cyril, the three are forced to confront their emotional and physical baggage for the sake of their unconventional family unit. Traditionally told in two acts, French writer-director Gael Morel, adds a restorative third act to the HIV/AIDS fable using the trope of a love triangle. Victor Belmondo, the grandson of the one and only Jean-Paul Belmondo, is joined by Theo Christine and Lou Lampros in this melodrama draped in a coat of wistful and soft colours. To Live, To Die, To Live Again is both a commemoration to those lost to AIDS and a celebration of the medical breakthroughs that continue to bring hope to new generations.
“A special post-screening panel discussion will be held 45 minutes after the screening on 14/9 (Sun). Wong Sau Ping Adam, the director of The Way We Talk, will attend. Details“
