Adapted from Andreas Steinhofel’s prize-winning 1998 young adult fiction “The Center of the World”, this teenage romance brings you to a fantasy world of young gay love. Phil is a sensitive and cute German gay teenager and when he returns home after a summer away, he finds that his mother and twin sister are no longer talking to each other. Staying away from the family drama, Phil focuses on having fun with his best friend. When school begins again, a new student arrives and his handsome face and effortless charm immediately take Phil’s breath away. However, as this first love begins to blossom, Phil must deal with the past in order to overcome the present challenges.
