For gay men who have gone through the AIDS crisis, some of them might have felt out of place in today’s gay world when the younger generation seems to be growing more indifferent to the hard earned rights their predecessors fought so hard for them to enjoy. After Louie follows Sam (Alan Cumming), an artist and activist from ACT UP who lived through the early years of HIV/AIDS. He is still coping with survivor’s guilt after all these years, and he is bewildered by the younger generation of carefree young men with their attitude towards sex and politics. When he meets the sexy young Braeden, they hit it off very quicky, and this intergenerational relationship might be the key to Sam’s reawakening and the remedy for his wounded heart.
